Learning how to extract objects correctly in Photoshop has taken a while. Now I think I've got it! Doing these leaves was such fun. I even created the background and the frame myself so I guess you'd say I created this layout "from scratch"
This year the Fall colors are exceptionally beautiful. I just keep taking pictures!
I guess today is granddaughter day. Here is Susanna's 20th birthday page.
Enjoy!
I used some of Christine's pictures from Istanbul for this quick page. I really love the picture of her in a head scarf. With those big dark eyes she could look like she belonged in that culture. I'm using a larger size page so you can see it more easily. Enjoy!
I've been meaning to do something special with this photo of our Emily. Denis took the picture when she was about 3 years old. It's been in a frame with Nana and Papa all these years and now with just Papa. It's his favorite picture of her.
These pictures are pretty funny today. Actually they were probably pretty funny then too!
Graduation at the University of Maine 1968. The third sibling to graduate from the University beginning with Prisca in 1958, followed by Mary in 1962. The background photo was taken at the airport when Bernie left for his first job in California.
How great does my sister look or what???? She really did not want to go to this event at all but her daughter and I really pushed for her to go. She ended up enjoying herself and was glad she'd gone. Except for her 2 best friends, she really did not care about seeing any of the others. However she did spend some time talking to her old rival and said he was quite the gentleman and had a very nice wife. All kind of lukewarm comments. From the pictures she took, she was by far the best looking person there!

Here is a 2 page spread of Christmas in Round Lake in the 70's. Dad should get a kick out of these pages. Too bad he didn't get into any of the pictures himself. When you are on that side of the lens you forget about getting into the picture yourself.
This page says it all for me this summer. Every chance we got, we spent it in these rocking chairs enjoying the outdoors. It never got to 90 this year so except for the rainy period in the middle, it was a grand summer!
