Newport, Rhode Island

Finally some new pictures of us doing something other than hanging out on Carriage Lane. We had a lovely long weekend in Newport, ate well, saw the sites and relaxed. Even the weather cooperated as it was cool but bright sunshine.

Here we are in all our Easter finery. Cold and windy here but at least the sun was out. For a bunch of old folks we look pretty good in this layout!

This is the last one for today. I did spend a long time on this layout but I think it was worth the time. I like how it turned out.

Another artsy page done for a challenge on one of my sites. I used some photos I took at Bailey Island last Sunday when we had a wee bit of Sunshine. I have a number of pictures of Homer sitting on this bench at Land's End at different times of the year.

Artistic Tom Turkey

I did this page for a contest and entered it yesterday. I had to use 7 out of the 12 elements provided and use the picture in black and white 3 separate times in the page. It was great fun.

These turkeys were really going at it with the big displays yesterday. They were so busy trying to attract the females they were oblivious to my taking pictures.
