Erik Hockey Game

We went to Saco to see Erik play. Took lots of pictures that were mostly mediocre at best. Even on the sports setting a lot of the pictures are not really sharp. Must be doing something wrong here.

HBK in a Bottle

I liked this cabinet and putting Homer inside the bottle was cool.

Boxed Memories

This was fun to do with the box and some leaves that I photographed and extracted.

Grass Hay or Straw

I haven't put up any pages lately because I have been working on albums for two different people. One is now done and the other nearly so. I very seldom go out for a walk without my tiny Nikon in my pocket in case I see something interesting to photograph. One person's interesting is another's boring.

Kennebec Valley Regional Cross Country Meet

This was so much fun. I hadn't been to any kind of Track Meet in years. The Spies twins are Juniors in High School. Alex was my confirmand when he was in the 8th grade and I have kept an eye on his doings ever since. Kate is the journalist and has quite a few articles published in the local paper.

Artists Bridge Sunday River

This bridge is only one of 7 left in the state of Maine and it has not been used for vehicle traffic in years since a new one was built just upstream from this one. I had fun taking pictures from various angles. What a wonderful birthday I had!

Birthday Trip to Screw Auger Falls

These four pages are all of Screw Auger Falls in northwestern Maine. I had never been there so of course neither had Homer. Off we went for my birthday day away while Mary stayed with Dad. WE had a wonderful day!

Phalaenopsis

That's the name of the orchid plant. It is gorgeous and the picture can't do it justice. Putting it next to the door for the photo shows how big it is.

Hummingbird Plant

This plant attracted hummingbirds all summer long. The photo on this page was taken on Sept 24 . It probably won't have time to get much bigger than this now that there is a chance of frost over the weekend.

The Great Whale Watch Trip

We had a great time on the Pink Lady out of Boothbay Harbor last month. The boat was about 100 feet long and held 149 people. The afternoon that we were on it I guess there were about 80 people.

Cooking with Christine

We had such a good time making this dessert. It had about 1000 calories per serving but was well worth it as a splendid treat!

Summer Flowers

I keep taking pictures of these flowers hanging on my front porch since they are so amazing.

Kennebunkport Panorama

Part of our July Staycation was a trip along the shoreline. Had a late lunch in Kennebunkport at Federal Jacks thanks to a gift certificate from Bruce and Fran. Turned out to be a great day after a foggy rainy start.

Midsummer

My garden may be small but I'm constantly fiddling with it and tweaking it. Right now it's quite beautiful.

Cloudy Day

We have been having more clouds than sun hence this layout.

Flowers etc.

Tried some new techniques and came up with this 9 picture grid.

Pride

Here's another page from the Farnsworth museum trip.

4th of July

I did this page a few days ago but forgot to post it. It was the first real summer day we had had so far so we sat on the porch and just vegetated most of the day!
